I love Law school despite the fact that I'm facing a sheer battle of wills.

I hate spiders, eggplants, and okra.

I have three new pairs of shoes today, and a new blouse. I'm excited to wear it already. I can't wait till Monday.

And the prospect of new clothes. My aunt and I got some cloth... dark grey wool (or I think linen) for a pant suit, and two blouses (one peach, and a green and white stripe one). Later, I have to read about King David, well, his boyhood in particular.

I never really knew that Goliath was about nine feet tall. When I was a kid, I thought he was six feet or thereabouts. Because in the Bible times, people were small then, or so I was told.

King David wasn't perfect, but so far, he was the best that Israel ever had.
